Acceptance of Terms

The CertainTeed web site (the "Site") is owner and operated by CertainTeed, a Delaware company having an address of 20 Moores Road, Malvern, PA 19355 and all of its North American affiliates, including without limitation CertainTeed Ceilings, CertainTeed Gypsum, Inc. and CertainTeed Canada, Inc. (collectively, the "Company"). By using this Site you acknowledge that each North American affiliated company that is a part of the Company is separate legal entity. In exchange for accessing, browsing and/or using this Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and to comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including without limitation U.S. export and re-export laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these Terms of Use, DO NOT USE THIS SITE OR DOWNLOAD ANY MATERIALS FROM IT.

Access to this Site is limited to viewing the linked Web pages solely for legitimate business purposes to access the information provided by the Company at this Site. Any access to or attempt to access other areas of the Company's computer system or other information contained on the system for any purposes are strictly prohibited.

• Promote any illegal activity, or advocate promote or assist any unlawful act.

• Cause annoyance, inconvenience or needless anxiety or be likely to upset, embarrass, alarm, or annoy any other person.

• Impersonate any person, or misrepresent your identity or affiliation with any person or organization.

• Involve contests, sweepstakes and other sales promotions, barter or advertising by the user except as may be authorized in writing by the Company.

• Give the impression that they emanate from or are endorsed by the Company or any other person or entity, if this is not the case.

Monitoring and Enforcement; Termination 

The Company has the right to:

• Remove or refuse to post any User Contribution for any or no reason in the Company's sole discretion. 

• Take any action with respect to any User Contribution that the Company deems necessary or appropriate in its sole discretion, including if the Company believes that such User Contribution violates these Terms, infringes any intellectual property right or other right of any person or entity, threatens the personal safety of users of this Site or the public or could create liability for the Company. 

• Disclose your identity or other information about you to any third party who claims that material posted by your violates their rights, including their intellectual property rights or their right to privacy.

• Take appropriate legal action, including without limitation, referral to law enforcement, for any illegal or unauthorized user of this Site. 

• Terminate or suspend your access to all or part of this Site for any or no reason, including without limitation, any violation of these Terms. 

Without limiting the foregoing, the Company has the right to fully cooperate with any law enforcement authorities or court order requesting or directing the Company to disclose the identity or other information of anyone posting any materials on or through this Site. YOU WAIVE AND HOLD HARMLESS THE COMPANY FROM ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATING TO ANY INVESTIGATIONS, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, ANY ACTIONS TAKEN AS A RESULT OF ANY INVESTIGATIONS BY EITHER THE COMPANY OR LAW ENFORCEMENT AUTHORITIES. 

However, the Company cannot and does not review all materials before it is posted on the Site, and cannot ensure prompt removal or objectionable material after it has been posted. Accordingly, he Company assumes no liability for any action or inaction regarding transmissions, communications or content provided by any user or third party. The Company has no liability or responsibility to anyone for the performance or nonperformance of the activities described in this section.
