The total cost of a SunStyle roof will vary depending on the size, complexity of the roof, and the system size needed. We are most comparable to a slate roof plus traditional solar.

Solar tiles are more durable than most standard roofing materials, even in harsh weather conditions like hail, snow, and high wind. We have projects built in a range of climates, from the Swiss Alps to Silicon Valley. Our roof is Class A fire-rated to keep you and your family safe, and we guarantee our tile for 25 years. The power performance is warranted for 10 years at 90% nominal output and 25 years at 80%.

We have a 15+ year track record of installing SunStyle solar roofing in Europe prior to bringing the company to North America - over 500 installations with more than 500,000 tiles currently in active use. We now have several project underway in Colorado, California, New York, Washington D.C, Massachusetts, and Pennsylvania.
The tiles are manufactured in Europe and Asia.
SunStyle’s design was inspired by the traditional slate roofs of the Swiss alpine region. It cannot be placed in any other formation at this time.
Active and inactive tiles area 870mm x 870mm. Our pre-cut edge pieces are made of alucobond which is an aluminum material. Alucabond can also be cut to size as needed for edges and obstructions such as vent pipes.
Sunstyle provides the partner/installer with our materials quote, to which you would add your own installation, etc. costs and then you would provide the customer with the final proposal. You contract directly with the homeowner, just like you would today. We support you in the background as a material supplier. We also provide training leading up to your first Sunstyle installation, and will send a trained technician to be there on-site for your first project, providing guidance and assistance.
Tiles use a common MC4 connection, and are wired in a 3:1 ratio with 3 tiles to one module-level power equipment and standard solar equipment of choice. There is no proprietary equipment.
